Who needs Injury Prevention Services?
Individuals with little to no acute complaints/distress at the time, wishing to learn strategies and exercises to prevent chronic pain. Presently includes new mothers and office/desk workers.Programs including more demographics to follow.
Is this Physical therapy?
Yes, these are evidence based physical therapy consultations done prior to a diagnosed condition.They consist of examination, education, ergonomic recommendations and specific exercises.Injury prevention services do not include manual therapy/massages.
How are the services provided?
Virtually ,in person and group workshops
How many sessions would I need for injury prevention and early intervention?
Depending on the service selected you may need up to 2 sessions for one on one consultations.Optional follow ups are available.
Do you perform regular physical therapy rehabilitation?
Yes, regular physical therapy rehabilitation services post diagnoses are provided on a case to case basis.Virtual and In person sessions are available based on medical necessity.
Do you accept insurance?
No, all services are out of pocket.We currently accept checks, Zelle payments. Letters outlining the services with CPT codes can be provided to the client upon request. These may be used to submit to employers or insurance companies for reimbursement.
